Title : Business and Governance Linguistics

The workshop encompasses a wide range of issues related to linguistic aspects of business and governance communication (including:

  • the spheres of business, management, administration, politics and law discourses,
  • organizational and strategic, corporate and industrial communication,
  • PR, advertising and marketing, GR and BR,
  • leadership and managerial discourse,
  • business and governance rhetoric and metaphors,
  • the sublanguage of business, management, governance,
  • its pragmatic, semantic and stylistic peculiarities, the terminology,
  • the lingual, verbal and para-verbal specifics of meeting, interviewing, appraisal, negotiations, presentation, documentation, official correspondence,
  • media, etc.).
