Expressions of emotion Like the exclamation through poetry collection: 'Aghani ELhayah' Abu El Kacem Chebbi
Abstract/Résumé: This research focuses on types of emotion expression Like the exclamation through poetry collection "Aghani ELhayah"[1] for the Tunisian poet Abu El Kacem Chebbi[2], it is an attempt from us to get through a modern linguistic issue. We have chosen Poetry because it reflects the mood and emotion of the poet, especially in Romantic poetry, for this objective we have chosen a Poetry collection of a Romantic Poet as a corpus of this research: "Abu El Kacem Chebbi" as a model to follow in his poetry how to express exclamation. We are interested by Chebbi poetry for two reasons: First, when we read Chebbi poetry we became fascinated by it with interaction of the meanings and with proud of this Tunisian poet and his poetry that became famous in Arabic poetry, Chebbi was a symbol of rebellion and revolution and claim freedom from French colonialism Since the beginning of the twentieth century, His poem "To the tyrants of the world" became a popular slogan chant during the 2011 Tunisian and subsequently Egyptian demonstrations. So this amazing poetry and the way written makes us interested on the meanings of words more than being interested on emotions types, that’s why we tried to search the effects of emotions in Aboul-Qacem Chebbi‘s poems. The second reason is that Chebbi always expressed his own emotions, we can feel it from his poetry emotions like impulsiveness or confused in the beginning we found him surprised by the life around him. The exclamation is the most suitable meaning for the confusion, surprised, ugly or good that Chebbi described, that explains frequent use of exclamation in his poetry. He was exclaimed interruption communication between him and the people, exclaimed from the reality which cause pessimism, exclaimed of the greatness of his dreams Compare simply reality, Impressed by the beauty of nature and women, bewildered before the greatness of death, wondering about the mystery of existence, exclaimed weak people and surrender the French colonialism… [1]"Aghani ELhayah": songs of life, is Abu El Kacem Chebbi‘s poetry collection. [2] Abu El Kacem Chebbi Abū al-Qāsim ash-Shābbī) (24 February 1909 - 9 October 1934) was a Tunisian poet, is probably best known for writing the final two verses of the current National Anthem of Tunisia, Humat al-Hima (Defenders of the Homeland), born in Tunisia, on 24 February 1909. In 1930, he obtained a law diploma from the University of Ez-Zitouna He was very interested in modern literature, in particular romantic literature. His poetic talent manifested itself at an early age and this poetry covered numerous topics, from the description of nature to patriotism.
